We have 3 sons, ages 29, 24, 21, every year we have a fondue using peanut oil, we do steak, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and special dipping sauces my husband makes, we also indulge in a little wine, and play Catch Phrase.

Hi Ashley! Our family consists of just the hubs and I, since all our kids are grown and living a looooong way away. We have no family here at all.
ReplyDeleteSo in order to have somebody to "feed" on Christmas Day, we invite a couple of lonely Air Force Tech School trainees to dinner. We live in San Antonio, near Lackland and Rudolf Air Force Bases. Being able to share our holiday--decorations, music and food--to military men and women who would otherwise be stuck in the dorms, eating chow-hall food...it just makes my day.
